چکیده

In this work, a novel electrically reconfigurable phase shifter based on half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HM-SIW) is proposed. SIW guided transmission line topology, and by using excitation, smaller size can be achieved. Phase shifters are electronic devices that change the of for wide range applications, including inverse scattering sensing. The tunability PIN diodes applied here to achieve design. proposed single-layer structure does not require extra wiring layers bias circuit suggested printed board. Its principle consists in integration, HM-SIW, three parallel lines, each connecting edge HM-SIW linked diode radial stub. Here we present results measurements frequency band from 4.5 7 GHz demonstrate how experiment agrees with simulations. Insertion loss was less than −10 dB, port coupling −2 dB both simulation measurement solutions. around half typical line. With design, seven states validated (ON OFF), adaptation relatively constant difference across broad (44%). A key benefit design microwave component reduction biasing diodes. This addition reduced compared commercial SIW. annexed section, software used more comprehensive analysis involving shift values parametric studies.

Reconfigurable dual-mode band-pass filter with switchable bandwidth using PIN diodes

A reconfigurable band-pass filter with switchable bandwidth, for wireless applications is demonstrated using a dual-mode microstrip square-loop resonator. The proposed filter has been designed on Rogers RO4003C and achieves switchable bandwidth by changing the length of two tuning stubs with the implementation of two strategically placed p-i-n diodes as switching elements. The filter was design...
